Philip Tweedie & Company are a young firm with vast experience in all sectors of the property market and have built their strong reputation on the principles of honesty, good communication, determination and hard work. In relation to Property Management Philip firmly believes that the key to good management is strong communication between the clients, the managing agent and the tenant and the clear need to respond quickly and positively to issues that may arise.

We are delighted to have recently employed Martin McAuley to lead our Property Management Division given the breadth and depth of experience that he brings. Martin had previously worked with the team as part of the O’Connor Kennedy turtle set up and we are delighted that he is back working with us. Martin is a good communicator and is extremely methodical, both attributes that are needed in Property Management.

We believe that there is a real need to have a management company that is physically close to the development that it manages so that problems can be visited and acted upon as quickly as possible. We  have built a good relationship with a strong panel of reliable contractors who are able to provide an efficient response where we request a problem to be inspected and rectified.

Below is a comprehensive list of duties that will be provided by Philip Tweedie and Company:

  • Call and attend AGMs and other residents meetings
  • File annual returns and other Companies House documents on your behalf
  • Prepare and issue share certificates
  • Maintain accounts on your behalf
  • Collect service charges
  • Pay various bills, contractors and other suppliers
  • Prepare annual service charge budgets
  • Inspect sites to ensure all buildings and grounds are in order
  • Recruit, supervise and manage contractors
  • Provide specifications and quotes for various works
  • Manage the appropriate insurances
  • Deal with individual shareholders queries and any problems they may have
  • Provide contractors details for out of office hours emergencies.
